The Friends of John Ball
The Friends of John Ball is a registered charity and the PTA (Parent Teacher Association) for our school. All parents, carers and members of staff automatically become part of “The Friends' when they join the school.
The Friends have three key priorities:
- to raise money to fund the ‘extra’ initiatives that are not provided for by the school’s budget
- to run fun events for our children, parents and carers to enjoy
- to bring our community together.
The importance of The Friends cannot be overestimated, with school budgets tight, they have helped to ensure that John Ball children continue to experience a wide range of enriching activities.
We are very grateful for the support from The Friends, they have raised thousands of pounds to improve our school, such as funding our school library as well as trips, resources and equipment.
Getting involved with The Friends is a wonderful way to support our school. The Friends have their own website containing lots more information, including how to volunteer.
